I started creating my bird paintings In the series Undiscovered Wonders when I was only 7 years old. Ever since then painting the imaginary birds, with bright colors and unique personalities has been something I love to do! It's an example of something sweet in life. Something that brings back memories and fills you with joy.
I like the fact that no matter what there is always going to be so much more to discover out in the world. Much is left up to the imagination and a lot is a mystery. What if the birds I made up in my head were actually out there somewhere? Maybe they are. Who knows? ?
Early on in the process of creating these pieces my family and I had gone to visit an Artist friend... And that's where It all started. It's really special when someone sees in your art the possibility to become something that will inspire and encourage many people.
Back on that day my head was filled with ideas of how I could make this dream a reality! How I could continue to grow as an artist and a person. How I could truly be the definition of an Artist Inventor.
Definition of an Artist Inventor: ( Yes, I made this up.)
Someone who has an incredible imagination and loves to create art in some way, shape or form and also comes up with many inventions (aka new ideas.) Someone wants to change the world through art and the invention of new things. They could be a musical artist, visual artist, writer, dancer, sculptor and so much more. (Or maybe all of those!) Basically someone who is an Artist and an Inventor. Plain and simple yet, also very complex.
I was going to create a "world" for my birds from my imagination. An island located someplace on earth but still undiscovered. I was going to make a place online for people to learn about their personalities. A place where the only limit really is your imagination.
So, I just want so say thank you to that very special person, who I believe really heard from God when they planted the idea to create this in my heart. I want to say thank you to all of my family and friends (Love you guys!)
I couldn't have done this without you all.
